Yep, you can do the Garter Stitch with Bernat Alize Blanket EZ yarn. You may have been seeing always pulling the yarn from the back and going forward which creates the knit stitch and if you keep going from the back to the front, you make the stockinette stitch. With the working strand in front of the stitches, you push them from the front to back for the garter stitch. Then in the next row, from back to front to create the look. If you see the photo and see the dotted lines going across, that's the garter stitch as you see in the blanket. There is a specific pattern to do the garter stitch mixed with the stockinette stitch with the blanket. It's super easy to do, even for beginners.
