Remove Growth Lines - Amigurumi Basics | BEGINNER | The Crochet Crowd
You can break apart the growth lines by changing where the increase is happening. In some patterns, the designer keeps it simple for follow through but the increase happens at the same point in each round. This creates a noticeable line on the project. Generally speaking, the increase is usually the same number of stitches between the increase stitch. You can decide to change the location of the increase to move it and still maintain the pattern as long as you have the same number of stitches between each increasing stitch. Some Yarnspirations patterns, in hats or other projects have this option. It makes the increase more round than just like sections of pie with flat spots.
