Now that fall temperatures are starting in Nova Scotia, the idea of bunkering down for the fall and winter has started. A debate every year is about when to put up decorations. Still, there appears to be a lack of understanding about the global access to the internet of certain countries having their own occasions. I often get in trouble for decorating my holiday before American Thanksgiving. However, for Canadians, the occasion is the 2nd Week of October. So after Remembrance Day, Nov 11, there are no other major occasions for me. Each culture has its timelines during November / December and January. We are global; I wish people would realize it. If someone wishes for an occasion greeting that doesn't align, they may just be not in the same country or culture. :D It's wasted energy of being upset or hurt over something that may not be part of your own lifestyle. Just smile and move on. :D And yes, I call in American Thanksgiving, so I don't confuse the dates, being Canadian. This video is closed-captioned for the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities.
