In learning how to knit, it's important to have the right resources such as The Big Book of Knit Stitches at your fingertips for expanding your skills. It's my first knitting resource book and I am super happy with it. For me, I know how to do purling and the knit stitch, but the fancy stuff is about combination of those stitches plus many others in order to go from exciting finished knitting projects to "The Earth is Moving" sort of knitting projects. I'm all about pictures and easy to read language. This book has that and for someone like me that is learning, this book is right up my alley! I also appreciate that in the book, they are also using the abbreviations in the instructions with a abbreviation key at the back. This allows me to get comfortable with the reading of knitting patterns to. I can count on that if I see an abbreviation in this book and I go to look at another resource like Yarnspirations, I can use the skills from this book and go forward with my knitting! #knitting #learntoknit #bookreview This video is closed-captioned for the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities.
